Yes Tonight,Tuesday Mikey Collins of the Friday street DJs will be on Sunny Govan Radio between 6 and 8 pm talking about one of Glasgow's lesser known musical festivals. It's the Mod weekender and yes Mikey does drive a scooter. He and his pals run one of the UK's most successful mod revival clubs. He's an in demand DJ in Europe as well. Every year in June Friday Street run a weekend of activities including lots of DJs playing soul, motown and sixties beat as well as a bit of modern music too. There's two live bands who can be seen for free and a scooter ride out as well.
