Oh Sandy, River City eh? I love that programme! How good was it tonight??! I never thought I'd say this, but it's slowly beginning to take over Coronation Street as my favourite soap!

Hi Sunnyemma
Thank you for your kind comments regarding River City but not even me thinks it will ever catch Coronation Street when you think that Coronation Street will be 48 years old on the 9th of December this year 2008.
Coronation Street began on the 9th of December 1960 at 7pm as a 12 episode series and 48 years later the rest is history as they say.
Kind Regards Sandy

Thank you for sharing your knowledge Sandy! That's interesting. No, it will never be as popular as Corrie. It doesn't stop me enjoying a nice Tuesday night to watch it though! Then there's Eastenders.. pfft. It's so dreary. I couldn't even tell you what's happening in that. Apart from what I've learned from your soap watch of course Sandy!
